What is Botox?
Botox (botulinum toxin type A) is an injectable treatment that temporarily relaxes targeted facial muscles to reduce the appearance of expression lines and wrinkles. Botulinum toxin type A works by blocking the nerve signals that tell muscles to contract. Without that signal, the muscle relaxes and the skin above it smooths out. The effect is temporary, precise, and fully reversible. It does not affect sensation or your ability to smile and express naturally.

Frequently Asked Questions
Botox typically lasts 3 to 4 months. Results appear within 3 to 5 days, reach full effect at around 2 weeks and then wear off gradually. With regular treatment the muscles learn to relax, and many patients find results start lasting longer.
Not when dosed correctly. A frozen look comes from over treatment. Dr Dineli uses precise, conservative dosing that softens lines while preserving your natural expressions, so you look refreshed rather than done.
There is no fixed age. The right time is when expression lines start to linger after your face relaxes, which for many people is the late 20s to 30s. Treating at this stage can prevent lines from etching in deeply, while established static lines respond more gradually.
The most common effects are a tiny bruise or slight redness at the injection points and occasionally a mild headache for a day or two. Eyelid heaviness is rare and temporary, and the risk is minimised when injections are placed by an experienced doctor.
The injections use a very fine needle and each one takes a second, so most patients describe it as a brief pinprick. The full appointment takes about 10 to 15 minutes and there is no downtime afterwards.
